I find it particularly annoying that while we can't criticize Obama without someone screaming "Racist!", Hillary is either an Unwomanly ball-breaking bitch who isn't fit to run the country or a woman, who is obviously, by virtue of her gender, too weak to run the country. While the political cartoonists only give Obama big ears, they nearly all show Hillary as a wizened, mean crone, or as a drill sergeant, or as a Gentile version of a Jewish Mother. She can't win [even when she does].

George's New Career after Leaving the Presidency?
Israel Has Turned 60, and I'm 62

This photo was taken while visiting my Aunt Jenny in New York, on the day Israel's Independence was declared. I have some vague memories of all the adults--my Aunt Jenny and Uncle Harry, and my parents, laughing and crying while listening to the radio in the "front room" of the fifth floor, walk-up tenement flat on Avenue B and 4th Street. Next month, Jenny and Harry's granddaughter--a woman only 4 years younger than myself, her husband, and their two grown children (Jenny's great-grandson is the same age as my son) and son-in-law will visit Israel for the first time.

Yo, Big Mama!

Could this be why Hillary's having trouble corralling the votes? Obama talks airy-fairy stuff about "change" and we are called "racists" for pointing out that he's got no experience whatsoever, but Hillary is compared to a (oy gevalt!) Yiddishe Mama? (And a Yiddishe Mama's supposed to be a Bad Thing, you know.
